Welcome to Woolgoolga High School

Woolgoolga High School is a place where every person is important and has something worthwhile to offer the school. It is a happy school where staff and students get on well together and all students are encouraged to contribute in a positive way to keep our school great.
You are encouraged to give your best in the classroom and to never accept second best. It is vital that you always try to achieve to the best of your ability. There are four golden rules that you should try to remember:

  * Strive for personal excellence in effort, behaviour and appearance.
  * Respect and care for other people, their property and their beliefs.
  * Aim to bring credit to yourself, your family and the school.
  * Realise that it is necessary for you to accept responsibility for your learning.

You are also encouraged to join in school activities. During your time at the school you could try out for representative sports team, the band, choir, debating, musicals and many more.As an important member of the school each one of you has a special contribution to make and we will try to help discover and build on your talents.
There are many teachers in the school who can help you if you are worried about something. These include your Year Adviser, the School Counsellor, our Support Teacher Learning, the Careers Adviser and all your class teachers.
I certainly hope that you really enjoy your time at our great school.

Principal: Mr John Ward.
